Financial aid is also available to those who qualify. We also offer payment plans to make paying for your education and training easier. Make Sure You Fill Out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®)

We encourage every prospective student to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). This is the perfect place to start looking for funding for your education! This free application will tell you how much federal aid you may be eligible for and start the process of applying for grants and low-interest educational loans.

Once you submit the form online, you should get a Student Aid Report in about a week. This report will summarize the information you provided and an estimate of your financial aid package. The data will be sent to the school you listed on the application, and our financial aid team will review your financial aid package with you. If your package doesn’t cover the total cost of your tuition, our team will review your options with you.

Our esthetics teacher training program, is not eligible for financial aid. However, payment options may be available. Speak to a member of our financial aid team for more information.

Are You Eligible for the William T. Pressley Scholarship?

The William T. Pressley Scholarship is available to students once a year. To be eligible, you must:

  • Be in the second half of your cosmetology program
  • Have an attendance rate of 90% or higher
  • Never been on probation or subject to disciplinary action

An invitation for application will be posted on the notice board in the first quarter of the year with all the relevant information.

Awards:

  • $500 for Cosmetology
  • $250 for Esthetics

Other Ways to Pay For Your Beauty Education

  • Grants. Grants are financial awards that you do not have to pay back. Grants often come from government agencies but might also come from corporations or foundations. They might be awarded based on merit, like academic performance, financial need, or community involvement.
  • Scholarships. Scholarships are another funding option that you don’t have to repay. There are many scholarship opportunities for aspiring beauty professionals. We offer the William T. Pressley Scholarship for cosmetology students every year. You can search online for other scholarship options, such as those through the Beauty Changes Lives organization.
  • Private loans. You may be eligible for a private loan to help cover the cost of your education. You can apply for personal loans through banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions. Make sure you understand the repayment obligations before signing a contract.

Financial Aid FAQs

How much do your beauty courses cost?

Our tuition is very competitive and offers students great value for their money. The cost of your course will depend on which one you take and what schedule you are on. However, the estimated cost of tuition is:

  • Cosmetology: $18,000
  • Esthetics: $10,500
  • Cosmetology Instructor: $5,000
  • Limited Skin Care Specialist Instructor: $2,500
Do you offer payment plans for your courses?

Yes! Cosmetology students may be eligible for monthly payment plans. We don’t want finances to stand in the way of your dreams. Esthetics students may be eligible to split their tuition into two payments. Talk to your enrollment advisor for more information on these options.
