David Pressley School of Cosmetology offers day and evening class schedules so you can attend at times that work best for you. We also offer multiple start dates throughout the year. Esthetician Student Instructor Training FAQs
Esthetician instructor training can be completed in as little as [BLANK] weeks, depending on your chosen schedule. Please note that some students may need to attend weekend classes to complete the course.
To enroll in the esthetician instructor program, you must be 17 years old and hold a valid license as an esthetician in the State of Michigan.
The course cost may vary depending on your enrollment time and payment options. An estimated cost of attendance is:
- Tuition: $1,900
- Books and kit: $450
- Registration fee: $150
For a total estimated cost of $2,500.
Financial aid is not available for this program. However, we offer payment plans and a very competitive tuition rate. Talk to our enrollment team about your payment options and learn how we can help make this instructor training course easier to pay for.
Yes! While some of your training will happen through lectures and demonstrations, you will have many opportunities to work directly with students. This will help you build your confidence in leading a classroom and working with students to help them develop their skill set.

A campus tour allows you to learn more about the instructor training course and start the enrollment process. We exclusively offer our esthetics instructor training course at our Royal Oak, MI, campus. In order to enroll, you must meet the following requirements
- Have a valid esthetics license
- You must be at least 17 years old
- You must hold an active valid esthetics license for the State of Michigan
- You must present a state-issued ID and a signed social security card
