Do you enjoy helping others to feel beautiful, confident and healthy? Are you looking for a way to turn your passion for helping people into a career that is lucrative and enjoyable? David Pressley School of Cosmetology provides esthetician training for serious students. Our beauty school program teaches you the latest esthiology techniques and technologies for purifying, renewing and balancing the skin so your clients have the foundation they need to look and feel amazing. Through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on training in a spa environment, you will learn how to provide body treatments, facials, makeup applications and hair removal treatments. Additionally, we teach you the skills you need to build your business as a licensed esthetician.

Receiving a certificate in esthiology requires 600 hours in approved training courses. Although Michigan only requires students to have 400 hours, we added more extensive training to ensure you can use your license in any state upon graduation. Even if you plan to stay in town, the additional coursework and demonstration time will help to build your confidence as well as your clients' confidence in you. The beauty school program, which lasts a total of 20 weeks, is available for both day and evening students. We accept financial aid, including Pell Grants and Stafford Loans. Upon graduation, you can travel many career paths, including working as a spa therapist or wellness consultant. You could even go on to own your own spa.

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Do you want to learn about esthiology or how to start cosmetology instructor training? Contact the David Pressley School of Cosmetology admissions office at 248-548-5090. We have campuses in Royal Oak and Taylor.
