Cosmetology is the study and application of beauty treatments. Cosmetology school trains students to work on hair, skin, and nail applications.
COSMETOLOGIST VS ESTHETICIAN
A cosmetologist is trained and certified to perform treatments on hair and nails and typically chooses to create a career that focuses on one avenue. On the other hand, estheticians are trained and certified to perform skin care treatments. Estheticians are not trained to cut hair, use hair chemicals, or perform nail services. David Pressley’s cosmetology school and beauty school focus on teaching students through hand-ons learning.

David Pressley School of Cosmetology provides our students with 1500 hours of courses, demonstrations and training that gives you the thorough knowledge and experience you need to begin your career. You'll learn the most updated techniques for hair, skin and nail care as well as for makeup application. At David Pressley, we not only offer day classes, we also offer cosmetology school evening classes to fit into any schedule. Please note some weekend classes may be required to complete the program.
