Meet Briana!

Meet cosmetology student, Briana, at David Pressley School of Cosmetology. Briana is a student in the junior division at our cosmetology school. Our students come to us from all around the Michigan area to attend our top cosmetology school. Upon completion of our coursework, the job opportunities are endless. We caught up with Briana to interview her about her experience at David Pressley and why she chose this career path.

What do you wish people knew about cosmetology?

-“I wish people knew how much work it takes to do cosmetology – especially, schoolwork”

What made you choose cosmetology?

-“I chose cosmetology because I’ve always wanted to learn more about hair and to help others feel beautiful”

What would you tell someone who thinks they cannot achieve a career in cosmetology?

-“If someone thinks they couldn’t achieve a career in cosmetology, I would tell them to "try it before you say that you can’t do it" because what you put your mind to, you will be surprised what you can do!”

In your opinion, what is the most difficult thing about cosmetology?

-“In my opinion, I think the most difficult thing about cosmetology is learning how to cut layers for the time!”

In your opinion, what is the best part of cosmetology?

-“EVERYTHING!”
